How do I know if my mailing will qualify for a bulk rate discount?

There are minimum quantities for different classes of mail.
1st class mail has no minimum and is the most expensive, currently .42 for each letter mailed. Presorted first class has a minimum of 500 pieces, and presorted standard has a minimum 200 pieces.

How much can I save by sending my mail at a bulk rate?

There are many variables that determine a mail discount, but typically you will save 30% or more from the 1st class rate. Non-profit organizations with an approved non-profit status through the Post Office can save even more.
